I never imagined that I would be the one “Calling C’Thulhu”. If you had asked me a few months ago what would I be doing on June 3rd, my answer would have been completely different. Six months ago I was practically still doing my Visa process and finishing all the paperwork necessary. And now I’m producing films… it can’t get better than this can it?
When I was in college I had some interaction with cameras and sets, but it was nothing compared with what I went for this film. The adrenaline pumping in my heart like gasoline, giving me the strength and calm necessary to affront the day and just concentrating on the film and be there for my team.
Everything was ready, the set, the actors, the filming crew, the Digital Designers. Lights, camera…and ACTION. I couldn’t believe my eyes, all of us where in perfect sync, everybody knew what to do, knew their parts and we started the Call.
Around 4 p.m. I realized that we couldn’t stop it, we couldn’t fight it, all what was left was surrend us to the great one. I had goosebumps when I watched Brennan kneel down and wait for C’Thulhu to come, my mind flashed like a movie all the things I had done for this moment to come…
I saw one after one surrend to C’thulhu, and when the director said “cut” to the last scene of the day I knew it was my time. I thanked the crew, I thanked my team for being with me. I saw their faces and I knew they trusted me, so I smiled, bowed my head and “Called C’Thulhu”
